Cratus Stone Palace

Our stay at Cratus Palace was a delight from beginning to end. We were given a wonderful warm welcome by Tuna on the front desk and very well looked after with a drink on the rooftop by Gokhan. We were very kindly given a room upgrade to a King Suite which was a great start to our stay. The hotel is beautiful, the location is perfect and the rooms are very well equipped. The bed was exceptionally comfortable and we had a lovely balcony. Complimentary breakfast was a great inclusion served in the restaurant with great views of the town and professional, friendly staff. Rooms are perfectly serviced by the friendly housekeeping staff. A huge thank you to Buse, the front office manager (who is absolutely charming) and all of the staff, it was a lovely experience from beginning to end. We will miss our daily chats with Tuna and Buse.

The property was absolutely stunning with breathtaking views, beautifully designed spaces, and a very cozy atmosphere. What made our stay even more special was the incredible hospitality of Buseh. She went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable, and her ability to speak English, French, and Turkish made communication so easy. She was truly lovely, helpful, and made our experience unforgettable.The breakfast was delicious and generous make sure to let them know in advance if you have any allergies, as Turkish hospitality is incredible and they will make sure you are well taken care of.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel! From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel incredibly welcomed and valued. Everyone was friendly, warm, and went above and beyond to ensure my comfort. The restaurant and bar staff were exceptionally amazing — the food was delicious, and the service was top-notch. My room was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable, providing the perfect retreat after a day of exploring. Even though there was a bit of a language barrier, every team member did their absolute best to accommodate me, offering helpful advice and organizing activities and tours to make my trip unforgettable. A special shout-out to Tuna, who took the time to teach me about Cappadocia and share his genuine love for his beautiful country. His passion truly enhanced my experience. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area and will definitely be returning on my next trip. Thank you to everyone for making my stay so memorable — I can’t wait to come back!

Wonderful stay – highly recommended! We loved everything about Cratus Stone Palace. The room was clean, spacious, and full of charm, and the location was peaceful yet close to everything in Göreme. The staff were amazing — Buse and especially Tunahan, who shared fascinating insights into the area's history. His knowledge truly enriched our trip. Breakfast was delicious, and the highlight was watching the hot air balloons up close from the rooftop — an unforgettable experience. Would definitely stay here again!

The room was very spacious with lots of extra amenities like toothbrushes and sewing kits. Breakfast was traditional Turkish with choice of eggs each morning. We could hear more of other guests from our room than we would have preferred, but it was not a big issue. Staff was quick to greet us at the front desk each morning as we left. We had the double room with bath and realized we could not keep our windows open as we were at street level. Not a major issue, but something to note if you want that room. Overall we were very happy with our stay.
